Acceptable use policy
Rules that every Customer, User, staff member and any person accessing UWOD with the Customer's credentials must follow. Complements the Terms of service and the Privacy policy.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all use of UWOD by the Customer, its Users, staff and any person accessing the Platform with the Customer's credentials, in any environment (production, test or development).
2. Environments
UWOD maintains separate production, test and development environments, each with independent databases. Access to test and development environments is reserved for testing, validation and quality control. Loading real, sensitive, biometric, minors' or productive data into non-production environments is prohibited unless expressly authorized by AppByte. Non-production environments may have availability, retention and support conditions different from the production environment and are not covered by the SLA.
3. Prohibited uses
Using UWOD for any of the following is prohibited:
- harassment, threats, hostility or coercion against members, athletes, coaches, staff or third parties;
- discrimination on grounds of race, gender, orientation, religion, political opinion or other protected category;
- processing of personal data without legal basis or valid authorization, including health-adjacent sport metrics, biometric data or minors' data without sufficient legal basis or guardian consent;
- impersonation of individuals, authorities, brands or AppByte itself;
- scraping, mass extraction, bots or reverse engineering;
- circumvention or breach of security mechanisms, or access to other gyms' data;
- illegal activities, fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, evasion, corruption;
- using AI outputs or training statistics as the sole basis for automated decisions with legal or health effects, without human review;
- resale, sublicensing or provision to non-contracted third parties;
- excessive storage or storage unrelated to the operational purpose;
- sharing accounts, credentials or tokens.
4. Monitoring and transparency
When the Customer uses attendance, check-in, performance or app-usage data to monitor members, athletes or staff, the Customer must inform the people involved in advance about the purpose, scope, legal basis and applicable rights. UWOD must not be used for disproportionate or uninformed monitoring of staff or members.
5. Consequences
Breach of this policy may result in warning, suspension, immediate termination of the Service, log retention for investigation, reporting to competent authorities and damages claims, without prejudice to any civil or criminal actions that may apply.
