Cookie policy
This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, which ones we use on uwod.app and on the UWOD platform, and what options you have to manage them. It complements the Privacy policy and the Terms and conditions.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser to remember information across visits (for example, your session, language or preferences). We also use similar technologies such as local storage (localStorage / sessionStorage) and technical tags. In this policy, "cookies" includes all of these technologies.
2. Who sets these cookies
- First-party cookies: set by AppByte Tecnología e Informática SpA (hereinafter "AppByte"), owner and operator of the UWOD product, on uwod.app and its subdomains.
- Third-party cookies: set by providers performing services necessary to operate the site and the platform (for example, content distribution or edge security through Cloudflare).
3. Cookie categories we use
3.1. Strictly necessary
Essential for the site and platform to function. Without them, the site does not work correctly and you cannot log in or browse securely. They do not require prior consent under applicable regulations.
- Keep the user logged in to the platform.
- Remember language selection (es / en / pt).
- Protection against abuse, bots and attacks (Cloudflare technical cookies).
- Load balancing and traffic routing.
3.2. Preferences
Remember choices you make to improve your experience, such as interface display or the last item viewed in a wizard. They do not identify individuals on their own.
3.3. Analytics
If we enable analytics in the future, it will be aggregated and anonymized to measure site traffic and performance. As of this policy, uwod.app does not use third-party analytics cookies such as Google Analytics or advertising pixels from Meta, TikTok or other networks.
3.4. Marketing and advertising
We do not use marketing, advertising profiling, retargeting or ad network cookies on uwod.app. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and request prior consent where regulations require it.

5. How to manage cookies
You can accept, block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the site from working correctly or prevent you from logging in to the platform.
6. Cookies on the UWOD platform
Inside the SaaS platform, cookies are exclusively technical and functional: authentication, session, security, interface preferences and audit traceability. We do not use advertising cookies within the product.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the technologies used, the providers or the applicable regulations change. The last update date appears at the end of the document.
