Athlete Portal terms

1. Identity and UWOD's role

The portal is a technology service provided by AppByte Tecnología e Informática SpA, operator of the UWOD product, on behalf of the gym (the "Company") that delivers training and memberships to its members and athletes.

UWOD is not a gym, coach, healthcare provider or bank. UWOD does not deliver training, coaching, or medical or nutritional services, and does not set membership prices, nor does it participate in the relationship between the gym and the athlete. UWOD only provides the technology to display information uploaded or processed by the gym and to let the athlete book classes, see the WOD of the day, log training and view stats.

2. Relationship with the Company

All membership, plan, class, schedule, billing, training and coaching matters rest exclusively with the gym. Any claim about classes, coaching, membership, price, schedule, injury or the gym relationship must be addressed directly to the gym, not to AppByte/UWOD.

3. Information displayed

Information shown in the portal (schedules, reservations, attendance, plan and membership status, WODs, training results, PRs and stats) is provided by the gym. It may contain errors or omissions and should be verified with the gym before any action.

4. Payments

The portal lets the athlete view their membership information and, where the gym enables it, the athlete app offers freemium Premium features and AI credits purchased through the app stores (Apple App Store / Google Play). AppByte/UWOD does not receive, hold or settle membership payments owed to the gym. Membership payments flow directly between the athlete and the gym through the channels the gym defines. Any membership information shown in the portal is for reference only and remains subject to confirmation by the gym.

5. Personal data

With respect to athlete data displayed or captured in the portal, AppByte acts as Processor and the gym as Controller. To exercise rights over such data, contact the gym. AppByte will provide technical assistance where applicable. Note that some training and sport metrics may be health-adjacent and therefore sensitive. Details in the Privacy policy and the DPA.

6. AppByte's liability limitation

AppByte is not responsible for the truthfulness, accuracy, currency or legality of the information uploaded by the gym, nor for the gym's commercial, coaching or training decisions, nor for the safety or suitability of the training programming or classes delivered by the gym. Training stats shown in the portal are not medical advice.

7. Security and proper use

The athlete must protect their access credentials, not share them, and report unauthorized access through the channel indicated by the gym or, technically, to security@uwod.app.

8. Governing law

Without prejudice to mandatory rules applicable in the athlete's country, this portal is governed by Chilean law in respect of AppByte's technical role. The relationship with the gym is governed by its own law and contracts.
